Chimney Repair Works
The repair work for this project included the caping stone and pot repairs to three chimneys, replacement of all broken roof tiles and repairs to fix leaky guttering.
Warehouse facility roof refurbish
This was a larger scale commercial contract of a recent client purchase of warehouse facility.
Following a detailed survey, we were instructed to refurbish the total roof covering that had various issues that was causing water ingress.
- This works comprised of detailed repair and cleaning works to existing roof windows.
- Repairs to valley & trough guttering.
- Repair works to internal downpipes.
- Cladding repairs to various elevations & providing vegetation measured reports of the required ongoing maintenance.
- All works were carried out to completion on a measured timescale to accommodate our clients request.
This was a recent traditional sandstone property.
The client required re-roofing using traditional materials.
Our client wished to incorporate a new rear dormer with our E.P.D.M covering and new velux windows to the rear elevation bedrooms .
New lead-works & pointing works to gable end chimneys were installed during refurbishment to ensure a complete weathertight finish.
This was a traditional country cottage contract.
We refurbished the roof to clients chosen covering of traditional slate, lead & zinc & enhanced the cottage with associated works.
This was a controlled removal of an external chimney & reinstatement works to the outer roof area.
Followed by internal works , of safely removing a large traditional stone built feature fireplace & also the removal of the internal chimney that sat behind it.
Followed by repair work to the floor, ceiling & walls , using a mix of materials from insulation to plasterboards to a concrete screed on the floor.
The objective of this removal works , was to achieve the clients goal of freeing up the living room wall to have a more unique choice of furniture layout once completed.
This was a large scale project of a traditional barn style development of 3 houses.
GRBM was contracted to install the Traditional Slate Roofs & Lead-Work detailing to completion.
This was a repair job to a chimney that needed resolved
Stripping out the surrounding of chimney breast & some repair & reinstatement works to maintain a good wind & watertight finish around the chimney of the clients home .

We successfully carried out the safe removal of No.x7 large flat roof windows that we’re a continuous ongoing issue with water ingress to main offices.
To the clients requirements, we constructed on-site insulated frame structures followed to on site fixing of EPDM single ply membrane with associated trim works to complete.
This was an extensive job as the works had to be incorporated with working offices & staff members below, so many safety safeguards had to be negotiated during works to accommodate the 9-5 office hours & the ongoing works to complete roof window removal.
This was a recent completed job in Giffnock to the clients chosen specification.
This job incorporated a low pitch roof of traditional slating.
Lead-Work aprons around the perimeter of slate , with zinc at end junctions .
We further completed the works with a black EPDM flat roof covering, with incorporated Drip trims & Upstands .
As this job was of a low level nature, it was important to bring all these materials together, to compliment each other from colours and trims to exact quality standards on completion.
